I'm Jennifer Legere and my job as a pet dog trainer is to help people and dogs understand each other.

I am committed to providing dog owners with kind, safe and effective training solutions. Whether you seek obedience training, clicker training, remedial socialization, puppy manners or rescued dog help, the best time to train is now. Everyone knows that problems are best solved sooner rather than later, or prevented in the first place.

The field of dog training has made phenomenal advances in the past 30 years which makes this an exciting time to be a trainer. There are so many different ways to train dogs that there's literally something for every person and every dog.

Why bother training your dog? Because life is full of rules. When raising children we are careful to teach life lessons about responsibility, manners, social etiquette and self-control. Raising and caring for a dog is no different. Neither children nor dogs arrive "pre-packaged" with the abilities to behave correctly in human society. It's up to the adults to guide and encourage them. If we can show our dogs what we expect from them and what the rules are, most dogs will abide by them.

However, not all dogs are the same. Just like people, dogs have personalities, likes, dislikes and preferences. Their histories shape how they behave and how they think. By developing a plan tailored to your dog, I can help you get the best behaviour so you can create a stronger bond to each other.

You deserve a well-behaved, balanced dog. Your dog deserves a knowledgeable and confident owner and a good life in a “forever” home.
